As of May 22, 2023, the University of Vermont no longer requires students to submit COVID-19 vaccine information. The University continues to strongly recommend COVID-19 vaccinations. The decision to recommend rather than mandate COVID-19 vaccines is based on various factors, including the evolving public health guidance. UVM recognizes the importance of vaccination in protecting the health and well-being of its community members and is actively encouraging students, faculty, and staff to get vaccinated. The University continues to closely monitor the evolving situation and collaborate with local health authorities to make informed decisions regarding COVID-19 vaccination policies.
